Frequently asked questions
How is the word of the day chosen?
The daily word is derived from the date, so everyone playing on the same day sees the same word. It rolls over to a new word at midnight.
What is a streak?
It is the number of days in a row you have solved the daily puzzle. Missing a day or failing to solve it resets the streak. Your streak is stored only on your device.
Does practice mode affect my daily streak?
No. Practice mode lets you play unlimited random words; those games do not affect your streak or the daily leaderboard.
